Nancy L. “Nannie” Moore is the oldest of 6 children born to

6. William Jackson Moore

Nannie married David A. Daugherty 10-22-1858. They are buried at the Marrs Graveyard in Falls Mills, VA. The cemetery there is on property currently occupied by horses and the tombstones are quickly being destroyed by the animals due to lack of fencing. I have written to the owner of the property, but have not received a response to date. Also, I have written to a gentleman in Princeton, WV whose desire is to preserve and document Civil War veterans graves. It is my hope to facilitate adequate fencing around these remains and respectfully preserve this final resting place.
