Mary Ruth (McHaffa) Rutherford, my 1st cousin, 1x removed, was born to Nathaniel Ezra MaHaffa and Nannie Crockett Davidson in Mercer County, WV. Ruth married Earl Forrest Rutherford and had three children:

  1. Earl Forrest “Chuffy” Rutherford
  2. Tim Rutherford
  3. Mary Ann Rutherford
